Remember, combinations never changes for safes and doors, you can bypass a lot of the busywork of hunting down notes. It should still work and let you get all the items inside. If this happens, just go straight to the door and input the code. While I was able to find the note and soda can once, the other two times I attempted to do this section neither the note or the can spawned. Keep in mind, I actually suffered a glitch trying to complete this section twice. Additionally, you can find an artifact adjacent to the locked door on the table. However, the door in the subway system is a little different, since you’ll be input the code into a keypad, not a traditional safe lock. These not only typically contain useful crafting materials and ammo, but key items that can make your journey much easier. While it’s possible to beat this game without spending a lot of time scavenging, we strongly recommend you hunt for the different safes scattered throughout the different parts of Seattle.
